The ApexAfrica comprises ApexAfrica Investment Bank Ltd., a non-deposit taking institution licenced by the Capital Markets Authority and Members of the Nairobi Stock Exchange, and ApexAfrica Consulting Ltd, the financial consulting arm

The group traces its origins to Hak Securities Ltd, which was licensed as a stockbroker in 1995. Since incorporation Hak has grown to be one of the most active stockbroker trading on the NSE.

With regional integration and the growth in capital markets, it has become important for financial service providers to play a more proactive and holistic role in the development and provision of financial services within the region. Hak took up the challenge to become the first stockbroker to transform itself from a stock broking firm to an investment bank.

The new structure will enable the ApexAfrica Group to provide broking, investment advisory, corporate finance, and consulting services to clients using the expertise of a multi-disciplinary team of dedicated and committed professionals, born and raised in the East Africa region. Our team, with the understanding of distinct market forces and Constraints that come into play within the region, are thus able to deliver customized and adaptable financial solutions to our clients.
